NO TO NEW CIGAR TAXES!

You’ve probably heard about the budget that Congress is negotiating right now – the $3.5 Trillion that’s all over the news that’s supposed to fund infrastructure, childcare, education, and immigration. Unfortunately, legislators have tacked on a huge wish list of things that don’t belong in the bill…up first is a $96 BILLION tobacco tax.
And it’s going to cost us cigar lovers a lot more money:
Congress’ plan completely changes how the tax is calculated. So if this thing stays in the bill and gets signed into law, expect that the feds will be adding $50 or more to your box of Romeos or Kuba Kubas or whatever cigars you enjoy.
